Abstract

The invention relates to a device for protecting a container used in the transport of articles. The device (10, 100) includes a belt (1 1, 101 ) including interconnected panels (12, 14, 16, 18, 102, 104, 106, 108) for wrapping around a periphery of the container (50) and further includes at least one lockable securing mechanism (30, 32) for securing the panels (12, 14, 16, 18, 102, 104, 106, 108) around the container (50) against unauthorised opening or tampering.
