Abstract

Provided is a toning window material, which can suppress the quantity of transmittance of an infrared ray and which has a toning element layer hardly degraded. The toning window material comprises transparent substrate layers, a toning element layer sandwiched between the transparent substrate layers, and an infrared reflecting layer (or an infrared reflecting film). This infrared reflecting layer is formed between the transparent substrate layer on the light incident side and the toning element layer, thereby to suppress the quantity of transmittance of the infrared ray incident on the toning element layer.
