Abstract

An invalid terminal is immediately disconnected from a network. A reception section (1a) receives a connection time limit that allows for the connection from the terminal to the network. A comparison section (1b) compares the connection time limit of the terminal received by the reception section (1a) with a connection permission time limit that an authentication device (1) permits the connection to the terminal. The connection permission time limit is a fixed value in the authentication device (1) and is generated when the authentication device (1) permits the connection of the terminal to the network. A setting section (1c), if the comparison section (1b) judges that the connection time limit is shorter than the connection permission time limit from the comparison result, sets a connection time limit to the connection permission time limit. The setting section (1c), if the comparison section (1b) judges that the connection time limit is longer than the connection permission time limit from the comparison result, does not set a connection time limit to the connection permission time limit and leaves it the fixed value.
