Abstract

An adult toy has an inflated, sit-on ball some 650mm in diameter with a tubular mount inside the ball, opening on to the surface. A lid closes the mount when not in use so the ball looks like an exercise ball, but in use the mount supports a screw-in dildo with a vibrator which is actuated by a handheld remote control. The dildo is exchangeable for a tubular accessory which imitates a body cavity. The ball and accessories may be sold separately.

TITLE: ADULT TOY

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention concerns adult toys for sexual gratification and components which assist in their use.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Dildos and vibrators are popular with both genders. Manually operable and motorised versions are known. The motorised models use dc motors and are powered by dry cell batteries. It is known to provide a choice of vibration patterns in order to vary the type of stimulation. Only manual operation can produce the thrusting sensation in the prior art versions.

Reference in this specification to the terms "dildo" or "dildos" are intended to include any device adapted for insertion into the anus or vagina. For example ,butt plugs and bunny shaped vibrators are incorporated by reference to the terms dildo or dildos.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A first aspect of the invention provides an adult toy comprising an inflated sit on ball, a mount projecting inwardly from the surface of the ball operable to mount an accessory for sexual gratification.

The means incorporated in the surface of the ball to mount the dildo may be a projection such as a threaded stud enabling the dildo to be attached by an internal thread in one end of the dildo.

The means incorporated in the surface of the ball to mount the dildo may instead be internal taking the form of a recessed mount into which the dildo is inserted. This connection may be by threads. Alternatively the mount may be a bayonet fitting.

It is intended that the dildo and the sit on ball be sold as a pair even though they may be packaged separately.

The ball may be manufactured in the same manner as an exercise ball, with a separate recessed inflation valve. Such balls are inflated to exercise pressure to enable a pleasant bouncing sensation when ridden by an adult. They are commonly 650mm in diameter.

A second aspect of the invention provides an adult toy comprising an inflated sit-on ball large enough to support an adult, the surface of the ball being modified by the provision of a mount for a detachable dildo. The mount may be recessed beneath the surface of the ball and covered by a lid in order to resemble an exercise ball of the type used in gyms and physiotherapy classes. The mount may be a moulded recessed container which acts as a mount for the dildo which is inserted therein. The container may have a battery compartment for dry cell batteries. Alternatively the battery compartment may be present in the attachable adult toy component.

The ball may have a separate inflation valve adjacent the recessed container. This component of the toy doubles as an exercise ball and attracts no attention if kept in a bedroom or rumpus room of a house.

A third aspect of the invention provides a component for an adult toy comprising a dildo with one end modified to be attachable to an inflated, ride-on-ball of the type described above.

The modification may be a threaded spigot projecting from the base opposite the head. The modification may instead be a pair of transverse projecting pins capable of engaging a bayonet fitting in the recessed container of the ball.

The dildo may include a battery compartment for a dry cell battery. The battery compartment may be present in the modified end. Preferably the battery compartment is present adjacent the spigot.

The dildo may be motorised in order to vibrate. A motor switch may be accessible at the base of the dildo. Instead the device may have an i-r detector for receiving signals from a remote switching device.

The dildo may be made in a variety of shapes and sizes, the purpose being to take advantage of the exchangeable property of the dildo in relation to the ball. Alternatively, the accessory may comprise a sleeve adapted to receive a penis. The accessory may comprise a disposable liner adapted to line the inside of the sleeve and be removable therefrom. - A - The dildo may accordingly be sold separately from the ball.

A fourth aspect of the invention provides an adult toy comprising an inflated ride-on-ball large enough to support an adult, and an integral dildo projecting from the ball surface. This version of the toy may be an injection moulding. The dildo part may also be inflatable. This version may be made in several dildo sizes with a common ball diameter, but it lacks the exchangeable property offered by the ball and detachable dildo. Nor can its purpose be disguised as is the case where the ball resembles an exercise ball.

A fifth aspect of the invention provides an adult toy comprising an inflated sit-on ball, a detachable accessory for sexual gratification, and means incorporated in the surface of the ball to mount the accessory.

The means incorporated in the surface of the ball to mount the accessory may be internal taking the form of a recessed mount into which the accessory is inserted. This connection may be by threads.

Figure 1 is a perspective of a first exercise ball with an attached first detachable dildo accessory projecting from the surface.

Figure 2 is a section through the base of the first dildo and the connection site in the first ball.

Figure 4 is a section through the connection site in the second ball with the detachable accessory having a sleeve mounted therein. Figure 5 is a front section through a second detachable dildo accessory for use with the second exercise ball.

Figure 6 is a section through a fragment of the ball at the site of the mount showing the mount closed by its lid.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION WITH RESPECT TO THE DRAWINGS

Referring to Figures 1 and 2, a first exercise ball 2 is 65cm in diameter. It is inflated during manufacture through valve 4. During manufacture it is sealed to moulded cup 6 which has an annular flange 8. The cup is about 40mm in diameter and about 90mm deep. The upper part of the cup has a recess 10 which receives plug 12. Plusg 12 is a push fit into the recess and sits on shoulder 14. The space beneath plug 12 is a battery compartment 16 for dry cell 18.

Plug 12 has a central threaded bore 20 and two minor bores which take leads 22 from half ring terminals 24 contact 30. Plug 12 is removable in order to exchange dry cell 18.

The first detachable dildo accessory 32 is a rubber moulding with an offset cavity 34 which houses dc motor 36 and the vibrator/pulsator parts 38 which are standard features together with ON and OFF switches 40, 42. The dildo base has a central threaded spigot 44 intended to screw into bore 18. Contacts 46, 48 register with half ring terminals 24, 26. These take current to switches 40, 42.

When the device is assembled the user initiates penetration and then sits fully on the ball, preparatory to bouncing. The switches 38, 40 remain accessible and may be operated at any stage.

In a variant, the switches are replaced by an infrared sensor and a handheld remote control.

In another variant, the switches 38, 40 are housed in the battery compartment and operated by the wireless remote control. Figures 3 and 4 show an alternative adult toy comprising a second inflatable exercise ball 50 and detachable accessory 52 having a sleeve for sexual gratification.

The ball 50 is sealed to a moulded cup 54 having an annular flange 56 at its opening end. The cup 54 is internally threaded 58 towards its opening. The hollow of the cup 54 forms a recess 60 adapted to receive the accessory 52.

The accessory 52 comprises a spigot 62 having an annular flange 64 at its open end. The spigot 62 has an external thread 66 for mating with the internal thread 58 of the cup 54.

A removable flexible sleeve 68 lines the inside of the spigot 62. The sleeve 68 is intended to mimic a vagina, rectum or mouth, and is adapted to receive a penis therein.

For use of the toy, the accessory 52 is mounted into the ball 50 by urging the spigot 62 into the recess 60 until the external threads 66 abut the internal wall of the cup 54. The remainder of the spigot 62 is then screwably inserted into the cup 54.

Once the accessory 52 is attached, the toy is ready for a user to insert his penis into the sleeve 68 for the purpose of sexual gratification. It is envisaged that the sleeve may also be capable of vibrating for additional penile stimulation.

Following use, the accessory 52 may be detached from the ball and the sleeve 68 may be removed from the spigot 62 and soaked in disinfectant solution enabling hygienic re-use at a later time. It is also envisaged that disposable sleeves may be used, or thin disposable liners such as condoms may be used to line the inside of the sleeve therefore reducing the need for cleaning of the sleeve.

Figure 5 shows a second detachable dildo accessory 70 suitable for connection with the second exercise ball 50.

The second dildo 70 includes a soft moulded elongate member 72 adapted for insertion in the user's vagina or rectum. The elongate member 72 is glued atop an annular flange 74 which extends at the top of a spigot 76. A collar 77 extends upwards from the inner edge of the flange 74. The spigot has an external thread 78 which is adapted to engage the internal thread 58 of the cup 54, thereby enabling screwable connection of the dildo 70 to the ball 50.

A detachable screw cap 80 is adapted to close the bottom opening of the spigot 76. Within the spigot 76 is situated a battery compartment 82 which contains a dry cell 84. Adjacent the battery compartment 82 is an infra-red compartment 86 which contains an infra-red detector 88 having a circuit and switch. Positive and negative leads, 90 and 92 respectively, extend from the dry cell to the infra-red circuit. Another pair of leads 94, 96. extend separately from dry cell metal contact 98, then close together through cable 100, before separating again once inside a vibrator housing 102. Within the housing 102, the leads 94, 96 supply an electrical vibrator 104. The electrical vibrator 104 may be activated and deactivated by the detector switch responding to a remote infra-red device 106.

Once the toy is assembled the user may insert the elongate member into their vagina or rectum. The user may then push an "on" button on the remote device, thereby causing vibration of the elongate member in order to stimulate the vagina or rectum whilst the user sits, rolls or bounces on the ball. When the ball is not in use the cover 110 is screwed into the open ended mount 6.

It is to be understood that the word "comprising" as used throughout the specification is to be interpreted in its inclusive form, ie. use of the word "comprising" does not exclude the addition of other elements.

It is to be understood that various modifications of and/or additions to the invention can be made without departing from the basic nature of the invention. These modifications and/or additions are therefore considered to fall within the scope of the invention.

Claims

THE CLAIMS DEFINING THE INVENTION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. An adult toy comprising an inflated sit on ball, a mount projecting inwardly from the surface of the ball operable to mount an accessory for sexual gratification.

2. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 1 , wherein the mount defines a cavity which is closable by a cover which disguises the mount.

3. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 1 or 2 in combination with a removable accessory for sexual gratification.

4. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 3 , wherein the mount and accessary are threaded for screw connection.

5. An adult toy as claimed in any one of Claims 1-4, wherein the mount has a battery compartment.

6. An adult toy as claimed in any one of Claims 3-5, wherein the accessory is a dildo.

7. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 6, wherein the dildo has a battery powered vibrator.

8. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 7, wherein the battery powered vibrator has a manual remote control.

9. An adult toy as claimed in any one of Claims 6-8, wherein the dildo has a threaded spigot and the mount has a matching threaded bore.

10. An adult toy as claimed in Claim 3, wherein the accessory is tubular in imitation of a body cavity.

11. An adult toy component comprising a dildo with one end modified to be attachable to an inflated ride-on ball with an inwardly projecting mount.
