Abstract
Disclosed are an arranging method and an arrangement structure for optical members, which enable to lower the temperature of an optical member arranged on an optical path. Specifically disclosed is a method for arranging an optical member, wherein an optical member is joined to a transparent substrate and the transparent substrate is placed on an optical path while being supported by a supporting member. In this method for arranging an optical member, a liquid heat conducting material is held in a gap in the contact portion between the transparent substrate and the supporting member. When a heat dissipating device is arranged in contact with the transparent substrate, the liquid heat conducting material is held in a gap in at least one of the contact portion between the transparent substrate and the supporting member and the contact portion between the transparent substrate and the heat dissipating device.
