Abstract

 動作速度がレーザの緩和振動周波数に限定されず、高速変調かつ長距離伝送が可能な光変調信号生成装置を提供する。信号源からの信号を光信号に変換し、周波数分散を有する伝送媒体に出力する光変調信号生成装置において、前記信号源からの信号により周波数変調を行って、周波数変調成分のみを有する光信号を生成する光源(102)と、前記光信号の周波数変調成分を、強度変調成分と周波数変調成分とに変換する周波数フィルタ(103)とを備えた。
