Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a panel radiator which has a large heat conduction surface and a high water volume.

  • Radiator is used as a heating tool. It transmits the heat it receives from the hot water, which is heated in a boiler and pumped, to the environment. Radiators perform heat transfer via convection. A volume heating with high thermal efficiency is provided by enlarging the heat transfer surface area by means of the panel radiators with 33 mm pitch. Furthermore, it is observed that DCOl sheet metal material is used in these radiators.

  • the dimensions of the water channel are enlarged in the invention in order to attain the said high water volume. Due to the turbulent flow caused by the enlarged size of the water channel, the shape of the channel is designed as an elliptic form with radiused edges. Abstract
