Abstract

 20~80モル%のパラフェニレンジアミンと80~20モル%のジアミノジフェニルエーテルとからなるジアミン成分と、10~60モル%の2,3,3’,4’-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物と90~40モル%の3,3’,4,4’-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物とからなるテトラカルボン酸成分とを溶媒中で反応させてポリアミック酸溶液を製造する方法であって、  ジアミン成分と前記ジアミン成分に対して過剰モル量のテトラカルボン酸成分とを、前記テトラカルボン酸成分に対して1/3モル倍を越える量の水を含有する溶媒中で反応してポリアミック酸溶液を調製する前工程と、次いで、前記ポリアミック酸溶液へジアミン成分とテトラカルボン酸成分とが実質的に等モル量になるようにジアミン成分、又はジアミン成分及びテトラカルボン酸成分を加えて更に反応する後工程とを含むことを特徴とするポリアミック酸溶液を製造する方法に関する。
