Abstract

SONET伝送装置は、複数の回線を収容する複数のINF部と、複数のINF部をメッシュ状に相互接続するメッシュ配線とを備え、複数のインタフェース部の夫々は、総てのINF部で収容される回線上の複数の信号に関するTSI処理を通じて複数の信号の中から選択した信号を出力するTSI部と、総てのINF部で収容される回線に関する警報情報を検出する検出部と、自INF部が収容する複数の回線に関して、警報情報を元に実施すべき保護切替動作を仮想的に実施する論理回路の計算によって得られる保護切替動作が反映された制御用データをTSI部に供給する制御部とを含む。
