Abstract
This invention relates to a method and a system for managing data in a communication network comprising at least a source node and a destination node acting independently of each other. At the source node side, directives are sent to the destination node, where the rules define directives for the data to be followed by the destination node. At the destination node side, a response is given to the received liability rules and therefore it is indicated whether or not the liability rules are to be followed by the destination node. In case the destination node agrees on the directives,actions are performed on the data and the received response is used as a confirmation that the destination node will follow the directives.
