Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un dispositif destinés à l'amorçage d'un hôte comprenant un système d'accès conditionnel téléchargeable (DCAS). Un mode d'une pluralité de modes d'amorçage prédéterminés est choisi comme mode d'amorçage de l'hôte selon une première information indiquant si un hôte peut communiquer avec un fournisseur de service de radiodiffusion, et selon une seconde information indiquant si un client de sécurité logiciel qui fournit les informations nécessaires au décryptage des données de radiodiffusion est installé dans un module de sécurité matériel connecté à l'hôte. Ensuite, l'amorçage de l'hôte est effectué selon le mode d'amorçage choisi.
