Abstract

A laminate which comprises in the following order a first layer constituted of a resin composition comprising a polyester elastomer and/or a modified polyester elastomer; and a second layer constituted of a resin composition comprising a polyester resin. The laminate has an interlaminar peeling strength of 1 N/15-mm width or higher when examined by forming the laminate into a heat-shrinkable film, obtaining from the film a test piece having a size in which the dimension in a main shrinkage direction is 150 mm and that in the direction perpendicular to the main shrinkage direction is 15 mm, partly peeling off the second layer in the test piece from an end in the main shrinkage direction, clipping with the chucks of a tensile tester that part of the second layer which has been peeled off and that part of the first layer from which the second layer has been peeled, and conducting a 180° peel test in the main shrinkage direction at a test speed of 100 mm/min. This laminate has excellent interlaminar adhesion. After having been processed into a heat-shrinkable film, the laminate has excellent shrinkage characteristics and transparency. The laminate is suitable for use in applications such as shrink packaging, shrink bundling, and shrink labels.
