Abstract
光伝送装置は、第一LIUのCPU内で動作するファームウェア、および第二LIUのCPU内で動作するファームウェアにより、それぞれOSを介してCPUの負荷状態を定期的に計測する。そして、各LIUのファームウェアにより計測されたCPUの負荷状態に応じて、マスタCPUの切替制御を実行する。例えば、第一LIUのCPUよりも第二LIUのCPUの負荷状態が軽い場合には、第一LIUにおいて、所定のポートの切替制御を行うマスタCPUをスレーブCPUに切り替え、第二LIUにおいて、この所定のポートに関するスレーブCPUをマスタCPUに切り替えるように設定を動的に変更する。
