Abstract

 稀少金属の使用量を減少させつつ、二次電池の正極活物質として極めて有用な複合金属酸化物、ならびにナトリウム二次電池用正極およびナトリウム二次電池を提供する。  α-NaFeO2型(層状岩塩型)の結晶構造を有し、かつ式NaxFe1-yMyO2(Mは、IUPAC周期表の第4族元素、第5族元素、第6族元素、第14族元素およびMnから選ばれる1種以上の元素であり、xは0.5を超え1未満の範囲の値であり、かつyは0を超え0.5未満の範囲の値である)で表される複合金属酸化物とする。また、この複合金属酸化物を有するナトリウム二次電池用正極およびナトリウム二次電池とする。
