Abstract

An air conditioning apparatus is provided with an opening cover for covering an opening formed on a casing. The opening cover is composed of a cover main body, and a locking piece formed at an upper edge of the cover main body. The locking piece is arranged on the cover main body by being inclined outward at a certain angle, and the locking piece is disengageably engaged with an engaging hole formed on an upper peripheral section of the opening. When the locking piece is about to remove from the engaging hole by the own weight of the cover main body, an inner body section and an outer body section of the locking piece are brought into contact with the outer hole wall of the engaging hole and the bottom wall of a recessed section, and removal of the locking piece from the engaging hole is eliminated by frictional resistance. Thus, the opening cover apparatus which can prevent the opening cover from dropping with the simple mechanism is provided.
