Abstract

 光学ヘッドは、記録媒体上で浮上しながら相対的に移動するスライダーと、そのスライダーの端部側面に設けられ、記録媒体上に光スポットを形成するための集光機能を有する光導波路と、前記光導波路に光束を導く導光光学系と、を備える。前記導光光学系からの光束を導入する光束結合部分を、前記光導波路の導波方向に対して平行な面に有し、前記光束結合部分に向けて光束を偏向させる反射面を前記導光光学系に有する。前記光束結合部分は、前記導光光学系から斜めに入射した光束の斜め入射による収差を補正する機能を有する。前記反射面と前記光束結合部分との間には、屈折率が1より大きい媒質部材を有する。
