Abstract

 本発明は、シンプル且つ低コストな構成でありながら、環境温度変化に関わらず安定して、異なる光ディスクに対して互換可能に情報の記録/再生を行える光ピックアップ装置用の対物レンズ及びそれを用いた光ピックアップ装置を提供する。第1の光路差付与構造に対して、対物レンズの温度変化に起因して発生する収差を補正する第3の光路差付与構造を重畳させており、第2の光路差付与構造に対して、対物レンズの温度変化に起因して発生する収差を補正する第4の光路差付与構造を重畳させているので、これによりシンプルな構成でありながら、環境温度変化に対して安定して、異なる3種類の光ディスクに対して互換可能に情報の記録/再生を行えることを特徴とする。
