Abstract

 低ビットレートのままで、ステレオ信号の音質を改善する符号化装置。この符号化装置では、LP逆フィルタ(121)は、モノラル信号の逆量子化線形予測係数AdM(z)を用いて左信号L(n)をLP逆フィルタリングする。T/F変換部(122)は、左音源信号Le(n)を、時間領域から周波数領域に変換する。逆量子化器(123)は、符号化情報Mqeを逆量子化する。スペクトル分割部(124、125)は、音源信号Mde(f)および左信号Le(f)の高周波数部分を複数の帯域に分割する。スケールファクタ算出部(126、127)は、それぞれ、分割された各帯域のモノラル音源信号Mdeh,i(f)と左音源信号Leh,i(f)、及び、Mdeh,i(f)と右音源信号Reh,i(f)を用いて、スケールファクタαi及びβiを計算する。
