Abstract

 本発明は、金属箔からなり、少なくとも正極用の活物質または負極用の活物質を担持する電池用集電体に関する。金属箔の少なくとも一方の面には、圧縮されたベース平面が形成されるとともに、そのベース平面の形成に伴って形成される非圧縮の突起が所定の間隔で配置されている。ベース平面の表面粗さは突起の表面粗さと異なっており、ベース平面の表面粗さは好ましくは算術平均粗さで0.8μm以下である。
