Abstract

　ＬＥＤ調光装置ＬＥＤ負荷４に流れる電流の大きさを可変制御する電流調整手段（定電流回路６）と、ＬＥＤ負荷４に流れる電流を断続制御するスイッチ手段（トランジスタＱ１）と、調光器１から出力される調光信号を受信して前記電流調整手段と前記スイッチ手段を制御する調光制御手段（マイコン５）とを備える。前記調光制御手段は、前記調光器１から出力される調光信号が所定のレベルよりも高輝度側の場合、ＬＥＤ負荷４に流れる電流を連続電流とし、流れる電流の大きさによりＬＥＤ負荷４を調光し、前記調光器１から出力される調光信号が前記所定のレベルよりも低輝度側の場合、ＬＥＤ負荷４に流れる電流をパルス状にして、その波形の平均値を変化させることによりＬＥＤ負荷４を調光する。このＬＥＤ調光装置は、ＬＥＤ電流が大きい場合にもノイズが発生しにくく、調光を深くしても明るさにばらつきが出にくい。
