Abstract
本発明の放射線検出器1は、検出セル7から出力されるアナログ電気パルスPを所定のしきい値Vthで二値化してデジタル電気パルスPpに変調するパルス幅変調器11と、放射線が入射する検出セル7の位置に関する入射位置パルスPx、Pyと放射線により検出されるデジタル電気パルスPpとを重畳して入射位置パルス列Ptを出力するデータ重畳器13とを備えるので、従来デジタル電気パルスPpの出力の後ろに付加されてきた位置情報をデジタル電気パルスPpの中に付加することができる。したがって、デジタル電気パルスPpの後ろに位置情報を付加して位置情報を伝送する従来技術に比べて、検出セル7に入射する放射線の位置を短い時間で検出することができる。
