Abstract

 円周方向のガタの抑制を図ることができ、しかも、ハブ輪と等速自在継手の外側継手部材との連結作業性に優れるとともに、ハブ輪と等速自在継手の外側継手部材との分離が可能とされてメンテナンス性に優れた車輪用軸受装置を提供する。  ハブ輪1と、ハブ輪1の孔部22に嵌挿される等速自在継手3の外側継手部材の軸部12とが凹凸嵌合構造Mを介して分離可能に結合された車輪用軸受装置である。外側継手部材の軸部の外径面とハブ輪の孔部の内径面とのどちらか一方に軸方向に延びる凸部を設ける。凸部を軸方向に沿って他方に圧入する。この圧入によって他方に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、凸部と凹部との嵌合接触部位全域が密着する凹凸嵌合構造を構成する。凹凸嵌合構造Mは軸方向の引き抜き力付与による分離を許容する。
