Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système, destiné à contrôler la répartition de taille de particules de bois dans un processus de fabrication de particule de bois. Le système comprend un déchiqueteur adapté pour recevoir et déchiqueter le matériau en bois brut en copeaux de bois ayant des formations de craquelures sensiblement dans le sens de la fibre ; un raffineur adapté pour recevoir et affiner les copeaux en particules de bois ayant une répartition de taille de particule de bois prédéterminée ; et une unité de commande de raffineur reliée au raffineur, ladite unité étant adaptée pour contrôler une opération du raffineur, sur la base d'une répartition de la taille de particule de bois obtenue, afin d'obtenir la répartition de taille de particule de bois prédéterminée.
