Abstract

 電極内部への非水電解質の浸透性及び保液性に優れ、高容量及び高エネルギー密度で良好な高温充電特性を得ることができる非水電解質電池用セパレータを得る。  非水電解質電池に用いられるセパレータであって、セパレータ3が、無機微粒子と樹脂バインダーからなる多孔質層2を多孔質セパレータ基材1上に設けることにより構成されており、樹脂バインダーが、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、及びポリアミドイミド樹脂からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種であって、かつ分子鎖中のハロゲン原子の含有量が10~30重量%であり、多孔質層における樹脂バインダーの含有量が5重量%以上であることを特徴としている。
