Abstract
本発明は、ストレージ装置間におけるリモートコピーのカスケード制御を行うストレージ装置を提供することを目的とする。
ネットワークを介して複数のストレージ装置がカスケードに接続されている。そして、複数のストレージ装置間でリモートコピーを行う。このため、コピー元から転送されるデータを一時的にバッファに格納する。そして、データの受信を完了すると、バッファ内のデータを一括して記憶部へ出力するとともに、ネットワーク接続されているコピー先のストレージ装置に対して送信する。
