Abstract

The embodiments introduce the method of inviting and involving a hidden participant (108) in a text based or audio based conference (102). Members (104,106) of the conference can invite the hidden participant (108) by sending an invite. Once the hidden participant (108) accepts the invitation and joins in the conference (102), the hidden participant (108) can witness the entire happenings of the conference but his inputs are visible/audible only to the inviting participant (106). The member (106) of the conference system can also invite more than one hidden participants (108) and can authorize them to communicate with each other. The member (106) can make himself invisible to become hidden participant and remain in the conference (102). In this case associated hidden participant (108) also continues to be the part of conference (102). Participation of the hidden participant (108) in the conference (102) can be terminated by participant (108) himself or by the member (106) who had sent the invitation to the hidden participant (108).
