Abstract

Cette invention a trait à un procédé permettant de produire une composition de résine de polycarbonate aromatique de qualité stable en mélangeant une résine de polycarbonate aromatique avec un additif, par exemple un stabilisateur thermique, de manière homogène. L'invention décrit spécifiquement un procédé permettant de produire une composition de résine de polycarbonate aromatique, qui comprend les étapes suivantes : une étape de charge de polycarbonate consistant à introduire un polycarbonate aromatique à l'état fondu dans une extrudeuse de manière continue ; une étape d'extrusion consistant à mélanger le polycarbonate aromatique avec un stabilisateur thermique dans l'extrudeuse et à extruder le mélange à partir de l'extrudeuse ; une étape de formation de granulés consistant à réduire en granulés le polycarbonate aromatique extrudé à partir de l'extrudeuse de manière à former des granulés à partir du polycarbonate aromatique ; et une étape de circulation/d'introduction des granulés consistant à recueillir une partie des granulés de polycarbonate aromatique, et à introduire en continu les granulés imprégnés du stabilisateur thermique vers l'extrudeuse dans laquelle le polycarbonate aromatique doit être introduit à l'étape d'introduction du polycarbonate, tout en imprégnant les granulés avec le stabilisateur thermique de manière continue.
