Abstract

Un dispositivo aplicador (1, 1 ') para ablación por radiofrecuencia de tejidos biológicos, que comprende un electrodo cuya superficie exterior está recubierta de una cubierta aislante (2, 2') en una porción proximal, y tiene una porción distal (3, 3') conductora cuyo electrodo incluye medios de refrigeración interna (7, 7'); un sistema de infusión con un extremo distal (13, 6) para infundir un fluido en dicho tejido; en el que dicho extremo distal (13, 6) del sistema de infusión tiene una cubierta exterior eléctricamente aislante y está situado, en posición de infusión de dicho fluido, a una distancia entre 2 y 5 mm de dicha superficie exterior del electrodo refrigerado internamente. La invención también se refiere a un procedimiento de ablación por radiofrecuencia de tejidos biológicos.
