Abstract

　リング型ネットワークにおいて、マスタノードが、逆方向及び順方向で計測パケットをスレーブノードに送信し、複数のスレーブノードを巡回した計測パケットを受信し、内部クロックの計時に従い、逆方向計測パケットの受信時刻及び順方向計測パケットの送信時刻を記憶し、計測パケットの送信時刻及び受信時刻が示される計測結果通知パケットをスレーブノードに送信し、各スレーブノードは、逆方向及び順方向の計測パケットを受信し、受信した計測パケットを次のノードに送信し、内部クロックの計時に従い、逆方向計測パケットの受信時刻と順方向計測パケットの送信時刻を記憶し、また、計測結果通知パケットを受信し、計測結果通知パケットに示される計測パケットの送信時刻及び受信時刻と、記憶している計測パケットの送信時刻及び受信時刻とを用いて、時刻補正値を算出し、算出した時刻補正値を用いて、内部クロックの時刻を補正する。
