Abstract

Une structure représentée par la formule générale MN(PO3)4 (dans laquelle M est un ion de métal monovalent et N est un ion de métal trivalent) à l'état de base est modifiée en remplaçant une partie de M ou N dans la formule générale par un ou plusieurs ions choisis parmi un ion quelconque appartenant au groupe des ions de métal de terre rare et un ion de métal du groupe III. Un matériau luminescent de contrainte est donc décrit qui peut être fabriqué à une température de combustion inférieure à celles des matériaux luminescents de contrainte classiques et possède d'excellentes propriétés luminescentes. L'invention décrit également un procédé permettant de fabriquer le matériau luminescent de contrainte et une utilisation du matériau. De plus l'invention décrit : un matériau luminescent de contrainte émettant une lumière à luminance élevée ayant une longueur d'onde inférieure à 350 nm ; un procédé de fabrication du matériau luminescent de contrainte ; et une utilisation du matériau.
