高分子電解質膜(1)と、全体として該高分子電解質膜(1)の周縁に沿って延在するように高分子電解質膜(1)の主面(F10)の上に配置された1以上の膜片状の第1膜補強部材(10)と、全体として高分子電解質膜(1)の周縁に沿って延在し、かつ、その内縁が第1膜補強部材(10)の内縁と互いに一致しないように第1膜補強部材(10)の上に配置された1以上の膜片状の第2膜補強部材(11)と、を備える、膜-膜補強部材接合体。
