Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de marchepied articulé pour un véhicule automobile, lequel système comprend un boîtier de marchepied fixé au cadre de véhicule au moyen d'au moins un support de séparation et d'une jambe de force s'étendant sensiblement vers le bas d'une première extrémité fixée à un corps de véhicule à une seconde extrémité fixée au boîtier de marchepied. Le marchepied articulé a une position repliée généralement sous-jacente au corps, et une position déployée s'étendant sensiblement vers l'extérieur à partir du corps. Le mouvement du marchepied peut être soit un mouvement de translation soit un mouvement de rotation par rapport au boîtier de marchepied. Dans un mode de réalisation, le marchepied s'étend sur toute la longueur de la cabine du véhicule, et partiellement sous un corps de transport de charge au niveau de l'arrière du véhicule.
