Abstract

　ネットワークに接続された機器２０に取付けたタグの情報とＩＰアドレスと中継装置１０に割り付けられた識別情報とを対応付けて管理することにより、ネットワークに接続された機器２０の設置位置の把握を極めて容易に行うために、本発明は、ネットワークに接続された機器２０と該ネットワークに接続された機器２０を管理する管理装置３０との間で行われる情報通信を中継する中継装置１０であって、前記ネットワークに接続された機器２０に取り付けられたタグ１０１の情報を取得するタグ情報取得部１０２と、前記タグ情報取得部１０２により読み取られたタグ情報と、前記管理装置３０から割り当てられるＩＰアドレスと、自己に割り付けられた識別情報とを対応付けて管理する管理部１０３と、前記管理装置３０から前記タグ情報又は前記ＩＰアドレスを宛先として送信された情報を受信し、また前記ネットワークに接続された機器２０から送信された情報を受信し、所定の処理を行う処理部１０４とを備えた。
