Abstract

(課題)パケット・ネットワークなどの非同期網においてパケットのロスや遅延などの通信品質を計測する際、従来のアクティブ計測ではユーザトラヒックが大の場合には計測用のパケットがユーザ・パケットに影響を与えて遅延やロスが発生し逆に品質を悪化させ計測精度が低くなるという問題があった。 (解決手段)ユーザ・パケットのトラフィックに与える影響が少なくするために、パケットの伝送品質を測定するための計測パケットをユーザ・パケット伝送の間隙を利用して送信することにより、低コストかつ精度の高いパケットの伝送品質計測方法および計測装置を提供する。
