Description
QUICK COUPLING FOR CHANGING EXCAVATOR TOOLS
Subject matter of the invention is quick coupling for changing excavator tools or type of closing for quick changing of excavator tools, which applies to the field of mechanical engineering, and solves the problem of tool breakage and also increases working force on bucket teeth.
The technical problem solved by the invention and which requires patent protection is the same tool as tools used for working with excavators on a wide range of machines, such as excavation buckets, couplings for hydraulic hammers, various rakes, etc., which means the machines with a nominal value of 14 to 24 tons can have the same tool, and this has until now been impossible due to various types of quick couplings.
Hence, the essence of the invention represents:
1. increase of working force on bucket teeth, which consequently means increase of working machine economy;
2. extends service life of the very coupling and other movable parts of the machine, and consequently service life of the machine;
3. increases strength of the joint between male and female part of the coupling due to large contact surfaces and constant pressure force, which enables even contact surface;
4. enables rotation of the tool for 180°, which means the bucket can also be used as a front tool;
5. increases reliability of operation;
6. decreases operating costs and costs of technological chains standstill.
Currently known problems of quick couplings are the following:
1. excessive distance between excavator arm and bucket, which is caused by excessive height of quick coupling, which decreases working force or the so-called useful force on bucket teeth. This means increased fuel consumption, which also decreases machine economy;
2. cracking of parts of quick coupling and increased wear of movable parts of the machine, which shortens service life of the machine.
The invention will be described on the practising example and figures, which show: figure 1 hydraulic cylinder figure 2 bucket main plate figure 3 cone part figure 4 lamella figure 5 coupling main plate figure 6 movable part figure 7 reinforcement wedge figure 8 reinforcement figure 9 cylinder holder 1 figure 10 cylinder holder 2 figure 11 bolt figure 12 round reinforcement figure 13 ring with hole figure 14 wedge reinforcement figure 15 movable wedge figure 16 female part figure 17 male part figure 18 diagram of the whole coupling composition
Quick coupling according to the invention is composed of the female part (figure 16), which is composed of the bucket main plate (2) and the cone part (3), whereas the male part (figure 17) is composed of the movable part (6), which is welded to the cylinder holder 1 (9) and the movable wedge (15), the latter being reinforced by the reinforcement wedge (7). Movable part (6) is inserted into the coupling main plate (5) so as to enable smooth movement, which is provided by the hydraulic cylinder (1), which is fixed to the coupling main plate (5) through the cylinder holder 2 (10) with the bolt (11). Movable part (6) is fixed through the cylinder holder 1 (9) with the bolt (11). And the coupling main plate (5) is welded by two lamellas (4), which are also the connecting joint with the arm of the machine, through holes (1a). Lamellas (4) are also reinforced by reinforcement (8), round reinforcement (12) and wedge reinforcement (14), whereas the ring with hole (13) provides positioning of bolts. Female part (figure 16) is installed on various tools for working with the excavator, such as excavator buckets, couplings for hydraulic hammers, various rakes, etc...
Female part (figure 16) is composed of the bucket main plate (2), which has holes which catch hold of movable wedges (15) during coupling. Cone part (3), which has a specific angle providing self-closeness of the joint between male (figure 17) and female part (figure 16), is welded into the holes of the bucket main plate (2).
Quick coupling for changing excavator tools operates in the following way: lamella in the form of a wedge first catches holes on the female part of the coupling, then the male and the female part are placed in a closed position and pressure in the cylinder is released, which causes the movable part to engage in the remaining two holes of the female part. Figure 18 represents the diagram of the complete coupling composition.
