Abstract
In order to improve a combustion process of a motor vehicle, the invention provides a method for regulating an injection progression, during which a fuel is injected, wherein at least one first parameter associated with a progression, particularly a combustion progression, is determined during a first combustion cycle, a comparison is performed of the first parameter to a predefinable second parameter, and an adjustment of an injection is carried out via the comparison, particularly via a deviation between the two parameters. The invention further provides a corresponding direct-injecting internal combustion engine.
