Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément structurel (17A, 17B, 17C) pour un élément fonctionnel (11) dans une caisse d'arrivée d'une machine à papier, l'élément structurel comportant un bloc intégral (1) comportant dans celui-ci une pluralité de canaux (2) définissant des canaux d'écoulement de la pâte à papier, lesdits canaux d'écoulement de la pâte à papier s'étendant à travers le bloc intégral à partir d'une première extrémité en amont (IA) vers une seconde extrémité en aval (IB) du bloc. Selon l'invention, l'élément structurel comporte au moins un élément pour former un espace (13) qui est agencé pour assurer un espace (14) d'une largeur prédéterminée entre le bloc de l'élément structurel et un élément voisin.
