Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un joint tournant comprenant quatre guides d'ondes (1, 2, 3, 4) de section transversale rectangulaire sur le plan E qui sont découpés, chacun, en deux sections dans le sens transversal, au niveau de leur section transversale où la densité de courant dans la paroi est égale à zéro ; deux plaques couvercle (5, 7) dont l'une (5) est fixe et l'autre (7) est rotative ; une paroi étendue, qui est divisée dans le sens transversal en deux moitiés de section (14, 15) - parmi lesquelles la moitié de section (14) comprend un moyeu (16) en son centre, qui est fixé parallèlement et coaxialement à la plaque couvercle fixe (5) et porte une section découpée de chacun des quatre guides d'ondes montée concentriquement sur lui, tandis que l'autre moitié de section (15) comprend un palier unique (8) en son centre qui est fixé parallèlement et coaxialement à la plaque couvercle rotative (7) et porte l'autre section découpée de chacun des quatre guides d'ondes montée concentriquement sur lui - ledit moyeu (16) et ledit palier (8) étant amenés à venir en prise et à fonctionner conjointement l'un avec l'autre.
