Abstract

The present invention concerns a device (2), an apparatus and a process for cleaning filters for plastics, in particular recycled polymer masses. More specifically the invention concerns a filtering device comprising a fixed base element (3) and a filter (6A) housed in a sliding body (7) in the base element. The base element provides for a filtering position (F) and a filter cleaning position (CF). In the filtering position a pipe (4) for conveying the material to be filtered to the filter and a pipe (5) for removing the filtered material from the filter are present, while in the filter cleaning position there are cleaning means (9) for conveying a flow of filtered material, under pressure, through said filter in a direction opposite to the filtering direction. Said cleaning means are external to the base element and are connected to it in said cleaning position.
