Abstract

[PROBLEMS] A lock structure for an electrical connection device, having improved durability for repeated use of the structure and increased locking force. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The lock structure for an electrical connection device has a first socket (4) and a second socket (7) that are connected to each other when either of them is pressed to the other. The lock structure has a first connection body (5) corresponding to the first socket and a second connection body (6) corresponding to the second socket. The first connection body has a body (11) for holding the first socket and also has an elastic engagement member (12). The elastic engagement member (12) has an engagement section (15), a support section (13) connected to the body, and an engagement release section (16). The second connection body has a body for holding the second socket and having formed on it a corresponding engagement section engaging with the engagement section. The elastic engagement member has a spring section (17) for urging the engagement section in the direction in which it engages the corresponding engagement section. Upon receiving external force, the engagement release section releases engagement between the engagement section and the corresponding engagement section.
