Abstract

 生産コストの上昇が抑制され、かつ、反射領域と透過領域とで同様の表示が可能な液晶表示装置を実現する。反射領域における液晶層の厚さが、透過領域における液晶層の厚さの、90%以上かつ110%以下であって、反射領域における液晶層に含まれる液晶分子のプレチルト角が、透過領域における液晶層に含まれる液晶分子のプレチルト角よりも大きい。
