Abstract

The present invention relates to a shaft-hub connection and to a method of production thereof, which is particularly suitable for a selector fork unit of a vehicle transmission. Corresponding depressions or protrusions are provided on the radial inner lateral surfaces of a hub or sleeve (14) and on the outer lateral surfaces of a shaft (12) that are engaged with each other. The at least one protrusion, engaging in the corresponding recess, is plastically deformed.
