Abstract

La présente invention vise à améliorer la stabilité au stockage d'un polymère d'oxyalkylène (P) dans lequel un groupe silicium réactif est lié à une chaîne polyoxyalkylène par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison uréthane. De façon spécifique, on obtient un polymère d'oxyalkylène (P) en soumettant un polymère à teneur en groupe hydroxy (pP) ayant une chaîne polyoxyalkylène et un groupe hydroxy et un composé à teneur en groupe isocyanate (U) représenté par la formule générale (1) ci-après, à une réaction d'uréthanisation en présence d'un catalyseur au fer (S) composé de naphténate de fer et/ou d'octoate de fer. (Si(-X1)a(-R1)3-a)-Q1-NCO (1). Dans la formule, X1 représente un groupe alcoxy ayant 1-6 atomes de carbone; R1 représente un groupe organique monovalent facultativement substitué ayant 1-20 atomes de carbone; Q1 représente un groupe organique divalent ayant 1-20 atomes de carbone; et a représente un entier de 1-3.
