Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Melamin durch Zersetzung von Harnstoff unter Verwendung eines Katalysators, wobei der Katalysator a) 10 - 90 Gew.-% Zeolith, b) 10 - 90 Gew.-% einer Matrix, enthaltend Siliciumdioxid, Aluminiumoxid, Silicium-Aluminium-Oxide und/oder Tonmineralien, und c) 0 - 10 Gew.-% Zusatzstoffe enthält und wobei der Gesamtgehalt an Nickel und Vanadium in dem Katalysator kleiner als 500 ppm ist.
