Abstract

Disclosed is an evaluation system which can observe the change in motility of a cell containing a substance of interest over time. In the evaluation system, a cellular motility evaluation chip is used, in which a spot on a substrate of the chip is fluorescently labeled and a nucleic acid labeled with other fluorescent substance is contained in the spot together with the substance of interest. The evaluation is made by plating a cell of interest on the chip and observing the mobility of the two fluorescent substances, based on a transfection array method. Also disclosed is a method for the screening of a substance capable of inhibiting the movement of a cell.
