Abstract

A film conveyance mechanism in which, when it conveys a film, a film slip at a film pulling section is less likely to occur. The film conveyance mechanism (6) for conveying a film (F) in a bag making and packaging machine has a film containing section (70) for supplying the film (F), a pull down belt device (69) coming into contact with the film (F) to pull it, and a control section. The control section controls the film containing section (70) and the pull down belt device (69) so that the amount of pulling of the film (F) by the pull down belt device (69) is not greater than the amount of discharge of the film (F) by the film containing section (70).
