Abstract

A system for produce labeling which may include one or more label printers, one or more scanning devices, one or more label applicators, one or more conveyor systems, a host system and/or external controller, a network, a display device, and media where a label printer may generate one or more labels using media for placement on produce such as fruit; a scanning device may scan a barcode generated by a label printer on a label; a label applicator may apply one or more labels to produce; a conveyor system may move produce; a host system and/or external controller may transmit signaling and data among one or more components of the system; a network may transmit signaling and data to and from one or more locations; and a display device may display printer status information.
