Abstract

 押出外観に優れる難燃性シラン架橋オレフィン系樹脂の製造方法および絶縁電線ならびに絶縁電線の製造方法を提供すること。  オレフィン系樹脂にシランカップリング剤をグラフト重合させたシラングラフトオレフィン系樹脂よりなるシラングラフトバッチと、オレフィン系樹脂に金属水酸化物よりなる難燃剤を配合してなる難燃剤バッチと、オレフィン系樹脂にシラン架橋触媒を配合してなる触媒バッチとを混練し、成形した後、水架橋する製造方法とする。前記シラングラフトバッチに対する前記難燃剤バッチの重量比は、60/40~90/10の範囲内にし、前記触媒バッチは、前記シラングラフトバッチと前記難燃剤バッチとを合わせた成分100重量部に対して、3~10重量部の範囲内にすると良い。また、上記方法により製造された難燃性シラン架橋オレフィン系樹脂を導体の外周に被覆してなる絶縁電線とする。
