Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To detect a loop for preventing a network from being brought into a congestion state by the loop without giving any unwanted information to a received packet in the case of unicast and even if the same multicast packet is transmitted from a plurality of upstream nodes in the case of multicast. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A node device judges whether the node itself has once transmitted the received packet and, if the packet has already been transmitted, discards the packet. If not, the node device records information for uniquely identifying the packet in order to make the judgment on whether the received packet is already transmitted at the time of the next reception and then transmits the packet. This prevents an endless copy of a packet in loop generation.
