Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for transmitting a torque to a screwing tool in the form of a socket wrench, a ratchet extension or the like, with a drive polygon for insertion into a form-fitting polygonal opening of the fferwerkmaschineiatas, with a in a Kugelaidhöhlung a polygonal surface of the output Mehrkantes eino detent ball for entry into a locking recess a polygonal surface of the polygonal opening, with a arranged in a Axialhöh- ment transmission member which engages with a first portion of the detent ball and the second portion is displaced by a switch when switching from a release position to a locking position in the axial direction of the Axialhöhlung such that the ffertechnikmaschineelement in the release position from the drive polygon deductible and is tied in the locking position to the output polygon.
- a device of this type is previously known from DE 202 09 159 Ul. It has an output polygon, which is the end section of an output shaft, with which a rotational movement can be applied to a socket or ratchet extension.
- the output shaft has at its other end a polygonal receptacle into which a drive polygon of another device, such as a ratchet head of a ratchet can be used.
- the generally designated as ffer Wegmaschinectionelement sockets or ratchet extensions have a standardized polygonal opening into which the standard polygonal section of the device can be inserted.
- the output polygon has a square plan.
- In one of the polygonal surfaces of the output Mehrkantes is a ball receiving cavity, in which a detent ball rests.
- the edge of the ball receiving cavity is caulked so that the ball can not fall out.
- the ball can, however, with a portion of its spherical surface from the Kugelabilityhöh- stand out. In its maximum forward position, the edge retention of the ball receiving cavity is present.
- The can be brought into a complete immersion position, so that the output polygon can be inserted into the corresponding polygonal opening of the socket wrench.
- the polygonal surface of the polygonal opening corresponding to the polygonal surface of the output polygon has a latching recess, into which a section of the latching ball protruding from the ball receiving cavity can enter.
- a control pin is provided in the known device, which forms a transmission element in a Axialhöhlung with which a locking movement or release movement of a switch can be transmitted to the detent ball.
- the switch is arranged in a transverse bore of the Axialhöhlung pin with a control edge on which abuts one end of the transmission member. The other end of the transmission element is in touching contact with the detent ball. If the transfer member controlled by the switch in the Axialhöhlung longitudinally displaced, the detent ball can be moved from its full immersion position in the maximum forward position. In this position, the socket wrench is tied to the output polygon.
- EP 0 747 174 A1 A similar device is shown in EP 0 747 174 A1. Again, in an axial cavity, an axially displaceable pin is formed, which forms two different high levels, on which rests the detent ball in the release position or in the locked position. Again, a switch in a transverse bore radially displaceable switch is provided. The pin lying in the Axialhöhlung is acted upon by a compression spring in the locking position.
- the invention has for its object to make the generic device, so a screw manufacturing technology simple and nutzsvorteilhaft on.
- each claim represents an independent solution to the problem and can be combined with any other claim.
- the transmission element has an elastic element arranged between its first section and its second section, in particular in the form of a compression spring, which is compressed upon switching from the release position into the locking position.
- the compression spring is now between detent ball and switch.
- the invention preferably an elastic transmission member. The distance between the two sections of the transmission member thus decreases when switching from the release position to the locking position. According to this embodiment, it is not only possible to hold the detent ball in the locked position spring force. It is also possible to hold the detent ball in the release position spring force.
- the pressure spring counteracts here in the release position with a lower spring force the detent ball as in the locked position.
- the transmission member also has a simple structure, if it consists only of balls and springs. According to a first variant, the transmission member consists only of two balls and a pressure spring arranged between the two balls. A pressure ball is acted upon directly by the switch. A blocking ball lies in surface contact with the spherical surface of the detent ball.
- the changeover switch can be arranged to be radially displaceable in a transverse bore to the axial cavity. It can have a control flank which displaces the pressure ball during the radial displacement of the changeover switch in the axial cavity.
- the compression spring is tensioned, so that the force acting on the detent ball force is increased.
- the switch can also be arranged rotatably in a transverse cavity to Axialhöhlung.
- This radial recess can have a radial recess in which the pressure ball rests in the release position. If the switch is rotated, the pressure ball exits under an axial displacement of the radial recess and biases the compression spring.
- This radial recess of large radial depth can be opposite to a radial recess of low radial depth.
- This radial recess low radial depth can serve as a latching recess when in the locked position the Pressure ball engages there. As a result, the switch is held in its rotational position.
- a longitudinally displaceable changeover switch can also have such depressions arranged one behind the other in its axial direction, into which the pressure ball can enter in its two operating positions, so that the longitudinal displacement position of the changeover switch is thereby fixed.
- the switch axially displaceable in an extension of the Axialhöhlung.
- the switch acts in this variant together with a pressure pin.
- the pressure pin is located in the Axialhöhlung and is displaced axially when adjusting the switch.
- One end of the pressure pin then acts instead of the above-mentioned pressure ball with the compression spring, which acts with its other end against the locking ball acting on the locking ball.
- the pressure pin may have radially projecting control cam, which cooperate with a housing-fixed control edge.
- the latter can be formed by an insert.
- a quarter turn of the pressure pin thus leads to a shift from a release position to a locking position or vice versa.
- the rotation of the pressure pin is done with the switch.
- This can be firmly connected to the pressure pin.
- the changeover switch can in this case be a turntable which rests in a front recess of a ratchet head.
- the switch can also be in a threaded hole, which is substantially flush with the Axialhöhlung.
- the individual Wendel bland the compression spring in the locking position are so small spaced from each other that the detent ball can not be pushed back by applying a large radial force in its full entry position into the ball receiving cavity.
- the individual helical turns of the compression spring come into contact with each other, so that blocks further compression of the compression spring is. If the changeover switch is moved starting from a locking position into a release position, the pressure spring is released as a result of the associated axial displacement of the compression spring. It only loads the locking ball with a smaller spring force.
- the device may be a torque wrench.
- the device can also be a ratchet with reversible ratchet or freewheel gear.
- the changeover switch is preferably the abovementioned pressure pin or the threaded pin which rests in a bore aligned with the axial cavity and which can be actuated by the end face of a gear head of the ratchet opposite the output polygon.
- the direction of rotation switching member for the cogged transmission can be arranged.
- the device may also be a ratchet extension or a cross wrench.
- the switch can then be arranged in an output shaft of cylindrical shape.
- the changeover switch is likewise designed as a circular-cylindrical pin which is inserted in a bore of the output shaft. The switch has two at an angle of 90 ° to each other standing stages which have a different distance to the center of rotation of the switch.
